You might have to check the colleges you are interested in, but here is a sample chart on the net. http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/8286/GPA/gpa.htm

oh we don't have scaled gpa

wow...90-100 is a 4.0? I have like a 95% average, and a 3.65.

weighted gpa is 3.65?

Yeah...what they do is weird. If you are in an honors or AP class, you get what is called "honors" grading. It's pretty much a joke, but the schools way of weighting the course. It's like if you get a 97%-100% in the class, then you add 6% to it. So if you got a 97%, you'd have a 103%. And if you have a 96%-94% you add 5%, 93-90% 4%, 89-86% 3%...and so on. What makes it dumb, is that there's like no one in my AP World Lit class that can get anywhere over a 92%, so it's not like they'd ever get over a 100% so it's hard to get over a 4.0...So pretty much if you take all the easier classes and get 100% then you could be higher ranked then someone who has like 5 honor classes and such....I think the valedictorian in my grade has like a 3.89.

Remember that the colleges you are interested may have a slightly different conversion table, or may simply recalculate your GPA based on the letter grades listed on your hs transcript, assuming that your transcript lists letter grades.
