Quick Question.....

Just a quick question to ya'll, the winter term at my school just closed and I was wondering if these grades will be sent to the schools I will be applying to? They weren't as good as my fall term grades and I am hoping they would only factor in if I get wait listed is this true?

Most schools have made most of their decisions. They won’t be sent now unless the school specifically asks for them, which is unlikely.

Most schools’ transcript requests include the whole year. Exactly how they use that information is anybody’s guess. Certainly if an applicant’s grades went in the toilet, the school might reconsider. However, I do not recall such an “out” in the contract we signed.

My guess would be that schools do a quick perusal of grades arriving at this point in the game and it possibly could affect their decision. I don’t think for instance that going from all A’s to 3 A’s and 2 B’s would cause a change. But getting some C’s or D’s might.

These are just guesses on my part. The short answer is most likely the school will see those grades.
