Hey all, I'm trying to transfer into USC from U-Florida. I applied as a transfer to the school of arts and sciences (as it's much easier to get into and I'm surely no lock for acceptance) but does one have to apply to the school of engineering or can you just declare that as your major and major in engineering? Gracias for any help.

You should call or e-mail the school of engineering to get clarification. If you don't get into the school of engineering, would you still want to transfer? If not, be sure you apply into the school of engineering & have a back up plan. Contact info about USC is at usc.edu. Good luck.

I think to get into engineering from the regular college you have to first complete some of the requirements(like calculus and physics), and you'll meet with an engineering advisor (who will decide with you whether to add an engineering major) But I'm not completely sure.

however if you know you want to do engineering, I would contact them right now and tell them that - it won't hurt :)
