quick question

Yes, before you make fun of me I know it's a dumb question...

But anyway, should I write a return address on the envelopes for teacher recommendations? If so, should I write my address or the school's address? (My teachers asked me to address and stamp the envelopes).

You should ask your guidance counselors. They have been doing this for a long time, and surely they must know something.

My school requires my name and the school address. For certain universities, such as Johns Hopkins, they require your birthday to be on the envelope as well. You should search the website of the college you're applying to for this info.

School Address.

If your school doesn't have a policy, don't choose to put your own address. The recommendations aren't supposed to be coming from you and you aren't supposed to ever see them.

My kids didn't put any return addresses down and this created no problems at all. (If a recommendation is not received, the school just lets you know and you arrange for a duplicate. This happened to us once.)

hmmmm ok thank you... diane, that seems to be the wisest course of action

Oh, I love it when people agree with me :)
