After i receive my bachelors, i plan on attending Law school. Does it really matter what i major in? Will i have a better chance of being admitted to Law schools if i have a B.A in history, rather than one in Advertising?

No.
Just do well on the LSAT and maintain a good GPA.

You can major in anything. There are in fact, some people who enter law school even with a biology degree.

thanks for the help yeyen and dhl :D

I keep hearing that taking a major, like history, will improve your critical thinking and writing, which will help you for law.

They say so too for philosophy and english.
Personally, if I were to go into law, I'd major in English.

Well, prior to me deciding to go to law school, i've had a passion for history. I was just scared to major in it because of the minimal amount of career oppurtunities. But i found law now :)
