The number of A-G semester courses beyond the minimum specified for UC eligibility.

Does this include senior year courses?

Is there a way to edit your app right now to cater it to the specifc point system?

Also, when they say this is 77% of your total point score and give ~7500 as the cutoff, is that 7500 for the above factors or with the other 23% as well.

Yeah, I think it does include senior year courses.

I don't think we can edit our applications anymore though (but someone can correct me if I'm wrong).

Not entirely sure about your other question, all it says for sure is that "academic achievement factors" make up 77% of the maximum points available.

To clarify it says

Academic achievement factors
constitute 77% of the maximum points available

Then

In 2004, the cut point for UCSD admission was 7,465

Is the 7465 the cut point for the 77% of the total (acadmic achievements) or 100% (academics + essays)

It refers to the total points: grades, ec's, everything ... so if you have decent grades and SAT scores you should be fine. (Although the cut-off this year will probably be at least 100 points higher.)

So you have the 77% academic stuff + the essays and other stuff on top of it to add points to the ~7500. If i'm already past 8000 am I in pretty good shape.
