<p>I took the May SAT and scored a 1460/2150 (which was much below my expectations of ~1500/2200+ (800 M, 680 CR, 690 W))</p>
<p>That testing was with NO prep at all.</p>
<p>I WILL be retaking the SAT in October with studying.
My question is - should I take the ACT instead?
I am better in math/science than crit reading and have a weak vocabulary. </p>
<p>If I would take the ACT, I'd aim for 34+. But would studying for the ACT make me do worse on the SAT?</p>
<p>What review books are the best?</p>
