alright i know this might sound stupid, but when i send my SAT scores to colleges through collegeboard.com, how do they know which applicant the score corresponds to?

Cause you send it through your Collegeboard account?

Just taking a wild guess.. I'm still a junior and haven't applied yet

and also, when you send it through Collegeboard to a college, do they keep a file on you or something? for example, when you send it like now or during the summer when you havent applied yet, how do the colleges keep the scores?

Not quite sure if I understood your question cali, but say you took the SAT as a junior. While you were a junior, CB sent your SAT scores to your destined colleges. Then comes senior year. You apply to that college, and they'll have your SAT scores on file. They save it; not sure how many years, but they generally understand people do take SAT's before their senior year so it'd make sense for them to keep it for the future.
