quick question

so i'm pretty much decided on going to usc (it'll be cheaper than ucla which was my so called dream school). but if i applied for housing today, where do you think i could get into...i wanted birnkrant or new/north but its not looking to good from what i hear

New/North and Birnkrant appear to be the most popular with freshmen. Pardee and Marks Tower though are close to the acivity as well so those will be just as good.
If you happen to be placed in Arts/Humanities or IRC, you won't be disappointed, even though those are more isolated (though no more than around 10 mins walk from the rest). We visited AH and IRC and they are great, are newer, have AC (believe me, an added plus on the many hot days/nights), lots of planned social activities, nice facilities, etc. Students we talked to loved it there.

Also, if you really want your choices, chances might be higher for you if you find a roommate who registered a lot earlier with New/North and B as first choices. Roommates can be found on the University of Southern California 2012 facebook network.

From what I read on the housing website, USC housing will average the date of priority for you and your roomate.

^Oh really? Good to know.
My D met a roommate prospect who just registered, but my D absolutely wishes to live in A/H or IRC. Maybe best to leave her early priority date intact.
