Quick question

During High School, I took a class over the summer at the community college. And I did really poorly. Now I'm going to enroll as a full time student at the same college and i was wondering if i can remove that record. Can I?

I believe that college courses you took as a high school student will count only as Credit/No Credit.

I hardly think that's correct. So if I plan to go to CC after I graduate from high school but take a course in CC over the summer (currently a junior) then it would not factor into my GPA at all? Can someone verify?

It will be on your transcripts when you go to transfer out and will factor into your gpa. I think there is a way that you can retake the class and get a better grade in it but I'm not exactly sure how that process works. I could be mistaken but I think that it might override the bad grade. Talk to a counselor about it.

I think you could do an academic renewal but it has to have been at least two years since the class was taken. Check with your community college.
