GPA:3.912, 2 AP's, 5 honors in high school. but ACT-22(CR-15, W-21, Sci-22, Math-31). what are my chances for ohio state univ and penn state univ? and whats the min. ACT score i need to get for those schools? thank you.

no one? come on....

well for OSU, you probably want to raise your ACT grade to about a 27-28 or more if you can. I think the average there is about 25-29. Of course if you do better, that will help you a lot. Your GPA looks pretty good. Is that weighted or unweighted? And do you have any significant EC's because they'll look at those too. Overall, I'd say you're good for OSU, just raise your ACT a bit. As for Penn State, I'm really not sure about their minimum ACT reqs, but I'm sure if you get your ACT up to OSU reqs, you should be fine for Penn, as long as your other stats are decent. And if you're not a senior, consider taking some more AP's. Otherwise you're fine.

Hi psp. your GPA looks really good. Try and retake the ACT again. You would want to at the very least get somewhere in the middle of the ranges below, preferably nearer the upper limit of the range.

from this link it says the middle 50% of the 2007 freshman class was 25-30 for ACT, 1150-1330 for SAT.

Ohio State Alumni: Untitled

for penn state (univ. park), the middle 50% range is 26-30 ACT, 1180-1340 SAT.
