Quick Question

I took AP Bio in HS senior year

I'm entering CC this year and USC requires a science lab as part of their core.

Will it look bad if I take Bio in CC even though i got a 2 on the AP exam and have no credit? Or will it not matter?

This is how my schedule is going to look, and I feel its pretty damn weak, I want to take biology but idk if I should still.

English/Writing
Macro econ
Precalc
Philosophy
And either Bio or Theatre Art

I feel obligated to take a lab science now

Take bio. I've retaken plenty of courses in college that I had AP credit for. While AP credit can be a nice way for colleges to judge your academic ability in a standardized setting, it really can't compare to the actual college course (usually). What I've found is that in all the classes I've taken in college that I took as AP courses in high school, the college ones have been substantially more in depth and difficult. In otherwords, take the lab science, it'll look better on your transfer application than theatre art.

Even after the fact that my colleges will be reviewing my HS transcripts and CC transcripts?

I want the easy A (well, easier A) but at the same time I'm concerned that it'll hurt more than help.

EDIT:

Also, on the open/closed classes for my CC, instead of listing the spots left, some of the classes say wait #(any #)

Any advice on that?
