quick question

Hi, i know engineering is very difficult to get into at UCLA, so i but biology as my alternative major. My question is, if i get denied from engineering at UCLA, does that hurt my chances of getting accepted as a biology major? thanks

I believe your application will only be reviewed for School of engineering. If you get rejected from them, you will not be considered for the School of Letters and Sciences (Biology)

can someone please confirm this. any other input would be greatly appreciated!

im pretty sure that's true.

yeppp... if i remember correctly on the app for UCLA it says they only look at the first choice only but rarely consider the alternative....
so its kinda like berkeley except you get the option of checking an alternative for la
