Quick Question!

This question has been bothering me..

In August, Harvard mailed me an application and asked me to send an unfinished application by labour day so that Harvard could get my name on record and arrange an early interview... The letter said that I could send in a completed application later. I did this but did not receive an interview until after I sent out my common app (my interview was around jan 7th...) What also worries me is that I received two Harvard ID numbers, one for my unfinished application and one for my finished app... Only the number for my unfinished app works... I expressed concern to my interviewer that I might have two applications on record and he promised to convey my concerns to admissions.

Am I screwed? My unfinished application that I mailed in Sept is definitely inferior to my common app..

um…you could try calling the admissions office tomorrow and asking. Maybe they transferred the ID number to the common app?

this question has been bothering you and you only remembered to ask it now?! oh well.

it wouldn’t be the end of the world if i was denied from harvard… i just dont want this to be the reason for it.

the letter told me to send in an unfinished application (the application was attached)… Did anyone else get one of those letters??

i even attached a note explaining that i was submitting an unfinished app in accordance with their letter…

If only the unfinished ID works, then that logically means that they sorted it out. Check your application status login for the unfinished application to see if it says that all documents have been received (which it wouldn’t say if it were “unfinished”).

Might be worth calling though. Best of luck.

"All required documents have been received. Thank you. "
ok ok… I think that I am just freaking out…
