Quick Question

Okay, I was told at the ILR info session that they DO look at SAT Writing, which is contrary to everything I've seen or heard so far. The info session was led by a student and while he was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the school and the admissions process, I would prefer to see this fact in writing or at least to have heard it from an adcom before I believe it. I'm really hoping they do, as my 780 writing sets off my dismal 670 math.

well i’m sure the adcoms see this score…and i’m sure it’s a PLUS but maybe it’s not a NEG who knows. i thought the SAT folks would ahve started releasing data on this portion by now

see, i’m not even sure the adcoms see it, resbell. college board’s cornell profile makes it look like the university completely disregards sat writing. bumping to see if anyone has a strong answer to this one.

i’m nearly certain that the adcoms see it, because collegeboard sends the entire score report to the college and they look at it. it’s just that they mainly consider CR+M
