Quick Question

Hi everyone! So I just want to make sure that you DO NOT have to take the math diagnostic if you get a 5 on AP Calc AB and that you can automatically place into a math class...is that right?

Because I also recall talking to someone on the phone (you know, the person that called and gave a bunch of info about coming to UCLA) and I asked if I had to take the diagnostic even though I was in AP and she said yes....this makes me skeptical (was she telling me everything or just assuming I wouldn't get a 5 on AP Calc AB/ 4 or 5 on AP Calc BC)

and yes i have seen this site UCLA Department of Mathematics

p.s. i'm an incoming freshman

you answered your own question

Awesome! Thanks for answering your question because I thought I had to take the math placement exam because that person on the phone from UCLA said so. But now I have one less thing to do during orientation sweet

haha, hooray
