<p>no not at all… i was like, uhh 98 and i feel fine about it. they are general guidelines, although some schools are stricter about it than others. if you go over by a lot, and your essay isn’t concise, it could reflect negatively on you because you are blatantly ignoring their restrictions. however, your overage is not only slight and likely unnoticeable, but extremely common (who stays under word limits?), so don’t fret</p>
