On the UCLA AP credit page it shows how many units are awarded for each AP test. How might I convert these units to semester units?

Thanks.

divide by 1.5…i think they keep one decimal point? though i might be wrong about that…

So 8 UCLA units = 5 semester units and 4 UCLA units = 3 semester units?

Just making sure here.

5.3 and 2.6 respectively

I’m pretty sure only whole numbers are used when calculating units.

Am I incorrect?

i was pretty sure that they used a decimal point also, so to make sure i found this [University of California - Counselors](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/educators/counselors/adminfo/freshman/advising/credit/berkeley.html) while it’s just what they give towards requirements and not units in general, some of the specific units they give towards requirements have a decimal, like 2.7 units, so i believe they go to the tenths place

Alright. Thanks.
