Quick Question

I hadn't gotten my AP Scores back by my star date so my advisor put me in calc 1. I got a 4 on the ap and I didn't really try. How much harder is the math placement test (to gain credit for calc 1 class). Is there a study guide online?

I took Calc I my junior year of high school. I took the math placement test with no additional preparation. Passed it. It’s not very hard as long as you remember most of Calc I

Also, I’m not sure what Purdue requires from AP to get credit, but if a 4 on Calc I is sufficient, I would advise you to contact your advisor. Let him/her know you got a 4 on AP and they should put you in Calc II

The math AP score credit for class is 4-5 on the AB puts you into Calc II a 4-5 on the BC puts you in Calc III. Of course you could take a lower class it up to your comfort level.
