Quick questions

Hi,

I'm a person that wants to go premed, but would like to major in business as an undergrad. What school at Northwestern would I want to apply to? The school of communication? Whatever school this may be, how competitive is it to get in, because right now I can only get around 1300-1350 on the SAT (excluding writing since I know NU doesn't care too much for writing), and also, I only have math and science ECs? If communications or w/e is too hard for me, can I apply to an easier school and then transfer into the right school later on? I don't want northwestern to think that I'm cheating (although I kinda would be), but I seriously want to major in business, and its not JUST because I'd never get into A&S.

thanks in advance

i dont think northwestern has a set bussiness curriculum major. they onyl have business institutions, whatever that means. u should probably go weinberg

Perhaps school of ed and social policy. It has LOC which is kinda business related.

Northwestern doesn't have an undergraduate "business" major; people interested are mostly in the econ program, but most students double because the series is pretty simple. They are supposedly introducing a certificate program so you can get a "certificate in business" from kellogg, but i'm not too sure.

You should either do econ (Weinberg) or LOC (School of Ed and Social Policy) for business. Then you can probably double major bio or chem (Weinberg), but FYI, you're in for a helluva lot of work.

No need to double major - just fulfill your premed requirements on the side of your Econ major.
