Quick recommendations Questions

<p>I really couldn’t find an answer to this, so I’ve decided to make a thread:</p>

<li><p>Would asking my history / science teacher for recs be better than asking my math / science teacher for a recommendation b/c the first option includes recommendations from different subject areas? If so, is the benefit significant?</p></li>
<li><p>What top schools require teacher recommendations from different subject areas?</p></li>

<li><p>Some colleges require that you ask one from a subject like history or literature and another one from math or science. If the colleges don’t require it, there’s probably no real difference in who you ask.</p></li>
<li><p>When I applied, the University of Chicago had restrictions. I would make a list of colleges to apply to first, then go to the school websites to find out.</p></li>
