Quick Resume Question

I once presented some research to a science fair and ended up winning some monetary awards for it ~ about $200.

Do I put this amount in my resume? It seems a little showy for something so relatively small, but my guidance counselor told me to leave it on there. Or do I word the awards in some other manner so I don't have to specify the exact amount?

Follow your GC’s advice. The amount won’t WOW the world, but it’s more than I ever won for a science award, and I majored in chemistry.

Nice going!

Go ahead and leave it there. Shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Congrats!
