<p>yes, but remember that x must be between 5 and 7; it cannot be 5 or 7.</p>

<p>If you have a triangle with sides 5,7 and x:</p>

<p>x must be greater than the difference of the two other sides and smaller than the sum of the two other sides. </p>

<p>Mathematically:</p>

<p>(7-5)<x<(5+7) </p>

<p>2<x<12</p>
