<p>So the point of this thread is that I've decided not to apply to a couple schools on my list for sure and am considering dropping another - I've now moved it to the "maybe" pile along with these. Given my stats and the fact that I am applying to:</p>
<p>NYU, Wesleyan, UT-Austin, WashU, and Brown - for sure...</p>
<p>which 2 or 3 schools do you think I should choose out of these:</p>
<p>University of Chicago
Claremont McKenna
Grinnell College
Bates College
Macalester College</p>
<p>I've researched them all quite a bit and determined the pros and cons of each (and I've crossed off A LOT of schools for various reasons) but I'm kinda stuck. So just opinion, advice, facts, whatever. I plan on going to law school afterwards and am looking for a liberal environment (obvious from my other school choices :D)</p>
<p>Out of the five I would go with Chicago and Claremont McKenna but if we are allowed to choose from others, I'd pick Georgetown, Cornell and Northwestern....</p>
