I payed $14 for De Anza to print out an official transcript for me which brings me to my question. Will Santa Monica college accept my printed transcript, or do they only accept transcripts mailed directly to them from other colleges?

btw, the transcript is in an envelope, and on the back it says "if this seal is opened, the contents inside will be voided." So it seems legit.

Well, whenever I am in the admissions office they say "Transcripts must be in sealed envelopes," but they never say that they must be mailed. I'm pretty sure that what you have is sufficient as long as you do not open the envelope (duh!). I think I saw someone bring in a sealed envelope the last time I was at the admissions office and they accepted it.

Most schools will accept student-delivered transcript as long as it's in the sealed envelope. Some schools (Harvard I think) require that transcripts be sent by the issuing school.
