My teacher would prefer to write the recommendation on paper, so I was wondering if I should put anything in particular for the "return address." Should I put my name and my address as the return address or should my teacher put down our school address as the return address. I'm not sure if this even matters, but I just want to be safe. Thanks!

Hmm Good question.
Here's how I'm doing it. I'm having mmy teachers hand the recommendations into my counselor, who is going to everyting (recs, transcript, profile) into one big envelope. I think this is the most organized way to do it, that is, if your counselor doesn't mind the extra responsiblitiy. I'm assuming, then, that when my counselor sends out the big envelope, she will put the school as the return address

My d's teachers put the letters in a sealed envelope which we put in a bigger envelope with other sealed items and mailed using our own return address. It insured things arrived on time. Counselor statement, transcript and letters mailed together and i also mailed certified mail to insure we could track it.
