Quick transfer/pre-med question.

I'm a sophomore at the University of Kentucky and I've wanted to transfer to Columbia pretty much ever since I was rejected ED senior year in high school. I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't very wise my freshman year of college (especially first semester), and therefore I abandoned applying for transfer last year, in hopes my "wising up" would have paid off (and it has). Very recently I decided to join the pre-med program here, with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology or English. I hear Columbia doesn't offer a "pre-med program" as such, or any pre-professional program, in the "program" sense. Is this true, if so, does this present any problems when it comes to attempting transfer (e.g. not "prepared enough" since I chose my course of study late and that sort of thing), and, in the wonderful event I get accepted to Columbia, how might this all affect me, as I would be coming in as a junior?

Please reply, and thanks for your time. Any other transfer advice at all, especially any that might be specific to my case, would be especially helpful.

If you get accepted to Columbia, you can major in Bio and minor in Psych/Eng. People don't declare majors until the end of soph. year at Columbia.
