Quick Transfer Thread

<p>I'm a freshman at BU completing my spring semester. To be brief, I'd like a more academically rigorous institution with a better campus and community feel to it, as well a school with a good English major that sends students to top law schools (my ultimate goal).</p>

<p>HS:
3.1 GPA
SATs: 770 CR, 560 M, 730 W
SAT IIs: 770 Amer. History, 720 Writing
-Many EC's, including leadership positions</p>

<p>BU:
3.6 GPA (Dean's List)
-Again, a few good EC's, with some community service to boot.</p>

<p>My schools:</p>

<p>-BC
-Brandeis
-Holy Cross
-Georgetown</p>

<p>I know that G'town is obviously a reach, but how do the others look? Any suggestions are definitely welcome. Thanks!</p>

<p>G’town isnt that far off. the average of accepted transfers is a 3.7, and considering your coming from a respectable BU, its not out of the question. i think the 3.1 gpa might hurt you for bc and gtown, though, but it’s nothing time cant fix.</p>
