<p>For the Family Data section (step 3), I was wondering if "State of Legal Residence of Parent, Spouse or Legal Guardian" is required? </p>

<p>My parents have been legal residents of California for at least 10 years, but they don't remember the exact date they came here. </p>

<p>I tried simply to put down the year, but then it says I need to complete the section. If I leave it blank, it might look like neither of my parents are US citizens or legal residents. I'm not very attracted to the idea of guessing the date either... Any ideas?</p>

<p>Also, how do we list courses we took over the summer? (I took a course the summer before my junior year at a community college.)</p>

<p>you should include the community college under your schools, like i have my high school and then the college i took classes at… and simply enter the course under the college… =D good luck</p>
