I'm taking Korean tommorow and I need to know if we can fast forward or rewind or do proctors not let you?
I've been taking practice listening tests. I fast forward the long silences and relisten to things I missed and I end with plenty time left over

No you are not allowed to rewind, fast forward or pause at any time during the listening test, you may be dismissed if you are caught

Gah. Thanks for the reply.
I’ve been practicing by replaying things I missed and skipping silences.
When I took the test today I did horribly.
I think I got around 700. It would look really bad for a Korean born speaker right?

It really depends on the frequency you use korean. Multiple college admissions officers take time to look at whether or not you know how to read and right and whether you use it at home or not, basically your proficiency. Of course a 700 may be iffy to send your colleges any score in the 700s is a good score. I took Korean too and some questions were definitely confusing

Mike I saw your message, but it didn’t let me send a private message, so I’ll reply here.
I couldn’t figure out the one about the woman writing an article about his brother either, so I chose that he respected his brother highly.

Yeah me too the question was weird because in the recoding the brother said that his brothers artwork was not that great, however the woman replied that she did not know art but later she said in the exhibition last year it got good reviews. Did I miss anything?
