Quick visiting question

Just a quick question -
anybody know what the policy is for other people coming and staying overnight @ Davidson?? like a friend from another school? What are the rules/regulations... is anyone allowed to stay on campus overnight?

Thanks

The most wonderful thing?: they don't really care! The only visiting policy is if you want to have a friend stay with you for like...a month...or indefinitely...they'll probably say that's not exactly okay. But yeah, weekends, even for the week -- it's fine! Almost everyone has a futon. My sister (15) has stayed with me twice. My College of Charleston cousin (18) has stayed with me a few times. I've hosted prospies ("prospective students") a few times, some who were officially visiting with the college, and some that I just happen to know. You're responsible for your guest...if s/he gets drunk and breaks something, you have to pay for it or make your friend pay for it...you're the one that gets written up for the incident. But it's pretty laissez-faire.

It would generally be cosidered good practice if you let your hall conselour or RA know, and if your roommate is cool with it then yeah.

Sweet, thanks guys :) I just asked because I remembered visiting a friend at FSU, and he told us their policies (which were pretty strict, if they actually knew you were there lol huge school)
