Your chances have changed dramatically since your last thread…NOT.

0 Because you’re 39 years old :D

^The only reason I have a new thread is because I couldn’t fit it in my Location box to advertise.
Does a smiley with a nose seem creepy?

you have excellent chance everywhere if you’re being completely honest  write up an amazing essay and hope for all the best.

i dont like smilies with noses :/

^Thank you.
My worry was my GPA and the Bs filling up my transcript, but hopefully my standardized tests will show my work ethic.
Where are you applying?

Good luck to you!

ima apply to a bunch of state schools and random SUNYs, CUNYs and others along the east coast.

but i plan on becoming a transfer student after one or two years to Emory ( #1 choice), WUSTL, vandy, UMD-college park and some others.

also, are you sure you’re a URM? (are you black, hispanic/latino, or native american? countries dont count :frowning: ).

also dont forget to apply to safeties that you’d actually like & dont forget to SELL YOURSELF to the adcoms :)

^oh thanks :)[sorry i cant backpace /delete/copy or paste on here].

Hey! haha,

  1. I am an ORM.
  2. I lived in an URM country for I don’t know… half of my life? haha
  3. You will def. make it!
  4. How do you do <3 on CC. Wow.
  5. Thanks!!
-I am sending topless pictures of myself ( I AM SERIOUS)

Okay, I’m lost. What’s ORM and URM? :/

Also, that is an impressive resume. I feel inferior now. Leave a few tips for the less-advantaged. :p

ORM= Ovver recruited. (Asians, …etc)
URM= under recruited. (Native Indians, Hispanics,…etc)

^
ORM - Over Represented Minority
URM - Under Represented Minority

I’ll be honest though, you created this thread to get more people to come look at it (probably your aim if you want to put it in your location) but you’re just going to end up getting the same comments again.

You might end up getting a lot of negative comments.

^HKToUS,
Brother, I swear I only created this so that I can put it under my location.
The other ones, polyglot, HYPSM chances were too long so it did not fit on my location box…

You might end up getting a lot of negative comments.

haha, I did not put any school names so that I won’t have to get chanced :)

Which four languages is it that you speak?

Impressive AP scores! Seriously, wherever you apply, they will really add alot of weight to your application. The SAT score (2400) is plainly amazing. But there is no ‘sure shot’. College admissions DO get arbitrary.

WOuld you mind chancing me please? : http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/960287-chance-international-national.html

THank you! Good luck!

If you read his other chance threads, you will see that his AP scores for senior year are all his own predicted scores (aka 12 As predicted). Very unlikely that it will actually occur to be honest, judging by his junior year performance.

As of now, his scores are largely A-s and B+s.

If all of your stats are true, then you are obviously extremely intelligent… Don’t worry about your past GPAs since there is nothing you can do now. A 3.7 at a seemingly very difficult school is excellent. Your rank makes up for your school’s apparent grade deflation. Can you get recruited for the sport in which you are nationally ranked? This seems like a huge hook…

If you are a nationally ranked athlete, why is it that you can only scrape a “B” in P.E and Sports? This seems very contradictory.

Dude, what is wrong with you? Do you have like no common sense at all or something? You just posted a thread exactly like this not even a week ago, and you’re getting the exact same responses? Are you insane? I have no reservations about insulting you now, because this is flatly idiotic.

And what are you morons chancing? He doesn’t even explicitly say what colleges he wants to apply to in this thread. That goes to show you how thoroughly these charlatans are reading before asking for your equally uninformed chance-back.

I wouldn’t put it this way, but christiansoldier is right. Your chances are not gonna get any better by posting a ‘chance me’ thread every three days.

I just don’t get you. You’re clearly a smart guy, so just think for a second. You know you’re not gonna get straight As next year, especially with the crazy courseload you insist on taking. Your GPA right now is like 3.6 (right?) and that is the reality. Deal with it. Your grades will not put you where you want to be and at this point there is not much you can do about it.
You refuse to post your ECs, you don’t send them when asked, you don’t answer our questions, the fact you posted grades you haven’t even gotten yet and the energy you’re putting into convincing everyone that your grades are not what they are - all of that led me to think that you actually have nothing more than numbers.
See, because this tread actually works very similarly to an admission office: you have to sell yourself  Show why do you think you’re good enough to be accepted. You’ve been told that about a thousand times already: with the grades you have, you’re gonna need something more. So stop pretending your grades are great and the next time you post a thread like that focus on convincing us what makes you a great candidate despite your grades.

I seriously think you guys (christiansoldier &funnygirl) are morons.
I ClEARLY said, this is not for chancing.
How many times do I have to repeat?
I need a shorter URL to put it in my location box.
Let the thread die.
Please, this is like my stat profile where I can refer back to.
