Quidditch. Yes, I said it.

This might seem completely ridiculous, but one of the things that made me so addicted to vassar was the fact that some of the students actually started a quidditch team. I just wanted to know what it's like. I plan on writing a bunch about it in the "why vassar" section of my app. I definitely want to participate.

Google it and there is a video and information about the team and the other teams they play.

There's a facebook group - Login | Facebook

Well, I don't play on the team, but I have watched several of their games out my window because the place they practice/play is right outside it. Quidditch was started at Vassar this year and has already become quite popular. Or, at least, there was a big turnout when we hosted Middlebury a couple of months ago or so. It also looks like it's a lot of fun, as well as a surprising amount of work. You've got to be in good shape to play (particularly if you're the seeker or the snitch) because of the amount of running, dodging, and throwing it requires, so it's definitely not for the faint of heart :D.

ive played soccer for 7 years. and ive been obsessed with harry potter for the same amount of time.
i think ive got the credentials :D
