If you want a quiet atmosphere, not a party drinking school, is UCSD a fit and can you find an alcohol free dorm at Warren?

Oh I’m going to Warren too!
And I don’t want an alcoholic OR a smoker as a roommate…! =/

i have about 3-4 guys that actually drink in my suite but we didn’t really have any problems, i think each came home drunk once or twice, not that often. i myself don’t drink or smoke so i’m pretty glad the majority of my suite doesn’t drink.

when you do your housing survey or w/e that is, just put no for smoking and drinking, i think you should be fine.

ResLife really screws you over sometimes when it comes to roommates. I come home intoxicated in some way and my roommate gets *ed because he’s a crazy anti drug freak. My other roommate threw up in our room twice, though he doesn’t drink very often, and my other roommate doesn’t mind him much at all. * you reslife.

Furthermore, I know dozens of people that have been roomed in situations where one drinks/smokes and the other doesn’t and doesn’t approve of it (there’s a question on the housing app that asks if you care about smoking/drinking whether or not you do it).

thing is though, some people might check the non smoker non drinker part on the housing application even though they do both.
