<p>Are Foothill dorms really quiet? Thank you in advance.</p>
<p>They are quieter than most other dorms (except the dorm apartments), but that doesn’t mean they are quiet…though I haven’t lived there, just visited.</p>
<p>Suites/apartments in general are quieter than the highrises… but noise depends a lot on who’s on your floor, or who you’re rooming with. So it’s really impossible to say how any of the dorms’ll be next year.</p>
<p>Foothill is quieter but more expensive. It also tends to be farther from social events and most freshman classes. I’m in engineering so I considered it, but I live in the units and I think they’re better. However if you’re a light sleeper or study a lot then Foothill is the place for you.</p>
<p>I’ve heard they are much quieter than the Units, but some people who chose Foothill for how close it is to engineering end up not liking it because people aren’t as out and about and mingling as much as in the Units. Also, I’m pretty sure that there is a lot more available places to eat, etc. on Southside.</p>
