Hey so its finals time here and i have a lot of studying to do. but everywhere i go it is so LOUD. the libraries are always packed and even though they are supposed to be quiet everyone talks away and i cant focus at all. everywhere in my dorm is just flooded with students who never shut up and my roommate has space issues so i cant really study in my room. so is there anywhere on campus where i can study where it will be dead quiet and i can be pretty much alone?? i have a really hard time studying if there is noise
thanks

Okay… a long time ago… but 25 years ago the Union had a really nice, quiet study room. No idea if it is still there, though.

stacks in Hatcher

I understand what you mean. I was in fishbowl last night and two guys sitting by just could not shur their mouths. I think Hatcher’s upper levels have some individual rooms, and it is really quite there.

Hatcher stacks for sure: they have quiet individual carrels that don’t usually fill up.

If they are still there after the renovation, I used to study in the music practice rooms in the basement at East Quad. There were six or so soundproof booths with a desk, chair, and outlets and I never saw another soul down there.
