how long does it typically take to hear back???

@jackoneill, timing depends on a number of factors. We are rolling admissions and will review applications on a first come first serve basis. Our typical turn around time is about 6-8 weeks but can be greater if documents are requested, if you applied to one of our health science programs or nursing, or a few other factors.

If you would like to know a specific timeline based on your application please email me directly at pmkrsiak@qu.edu and I would be happy to give you specific insight.

My daughter was accepted and is SUPER excited as Quinnipiac is her first choice. HOWEVER it is unaffordable! We received the financial aid award today and it was only $255! Even with her merit scholarship she would have to borrow about $40k a year. She was also accepted to Pitt and Scranton both with much more generous financial aid packages and to Penn State, Delaware and OSU from which we are waiting to hear regarding financial aid.

She is devastated thinking about this as we cannot afford to help her.

i got wait-listed??
This was one of my low safety’s and i dont wanna sound like an elitist but I’m kind of confused?
I got into schools of higher ranking and lower acceptance rate and i’m so confused?
Why dont they like me :frowning:

Didn’t know this page even existed until now ! Accepted back on December 26, 2016 into the College of Arts & Sciences as a Biology Major :)) Received a $15,000 scholarship !

I got accepted back in December as a Political Science major. I received the Dean Scholarship of 20,000 and with grants and other scholarships a total of 30,000. It’s still way too expensive.

@maria2619 It’s a nice school to get into but
you’re correct. With any type of scholarship, it’s still way too expensive :((

Got accepted into the College of Arts and Sciences back in February, for the Biology Major. 3.4UW, 1340 SAT.
