Ok so I have not visited Quinnipiac University yet but the school seems like exactly the school I am looking for. It seems to have a beautiful campus a good education and since I would like to be a PA it is perfect because they have a great program for that. The problem is Quinnipiac University is about 50,000 dollars a year in all. That is way to expensive and if I want to go there I will definitely need some kind of scholarship. I was wondering if you think I cam eligible to get some kind of scholarship based on these stats:
Unweighted GPA- 3.8
Weighted GPA- 4.0
Class Rank- 120 out of 466
Average- 92
Extra Curricular- Volunteer at hospital, help out in main office, in business club-DECA
I have not taken my SATs yet but please tell me what you think based on these stats so far. Also if you have any other colleges that are cheaper with a great PA program please let me know, that would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

You need to check the Quinnipiac website for “scholarships”. This should be under the financial aid section. Most universities offer their most significant scholarships to the applicants with the highest “stats” (SAT/ACT so it’s important to know these and GPA). I DO find it interesting that your weighted GPA is 4.0 but your class rank is at the 25% mark. That implies a very inflated grading standard to me.

Look to see what deadlines are in place for students applying for Quinnipiac’s most generous scholarships. Usually these types of scholarships have deadlines that are earlier than at most schools.

You might want to look into Springfield College as well. They also have a PA program…but I don’t think the cost is significantly less.

Check your state universities in YOUR state to see if any of them offer a PA program.
