Quirks

sometimes i also have to tightly shut my eyes. i dont know when this started but it bugs me. almost as if im tired all the time. it really sucks. i think i need help.

Can't eat and read at the same time....and if it's a newspaper, I need a flat surface to spread it out. Dunno how people can read a paper while holding it up.

like NJBoy200, I hate wet paper, it is the absolute worst. I also really don't like crumpled paper and I have trouble reading research off of a computer (it hurts my eyes), so I have to print every source I use for research.

wow sahaider me and you must be the same person. i do both of those

I wear contacts, so I'm used to things floating around in my eyes. Sometimes I'll get real microparticles in my contact that I can see as a transparent sort of string (think of string under a microscope) that moves with my eyes. I'll make it do things, like go to the ceiling and then gently float down (it floats down by me holding my gaze) or circle the television or the door.

I can't stand steam, whether it's from a teapot or a shower or whatever. It makes my skin crawl. For example, when I jump out of a shower I have to leave the bathroom until all of the steam is gone before brushing my hair or whatever.

I know exactly what you're talking about ^^

I'm slightly obsessed with grammar and almost always notice when people say things wrongly. I try not to say anything but sometimes it just slips out...

And I have to listen to music in the morning. Otherwise I'm ****ed off about nothing all day.

I have to listen to music when I work out, and I have to use my own system because I hate radio commercials.

Also, I absolutely hate sloppy paint jobs.

wutsupdoc : hahah no way. i thought noone was ever that weird! and the contacts thing, thats kind of what i do without something in my eye.

sahaider I too am like that! And I always find a speck and I make it do the most weirdest things. It annoyed me to a point that I sat in the back for a while (didn't work as the window glass had something on it too and I can't open it on the freeway..). Nowadays I try really hard to ignore it.

wow. i'm taken aback that others do it too. i suddenly feel so much better about myself as a person. i've found that the speck jumping has spilled over into my life generally and not just in the car. i'll see something and make it jump over hurdles when i'm just walking around.people must think i'm insane...

this is pretty wierd as well...
i somehow can't stand people with clefts on their chins.. its not that i don't like the people, just those clefts seem so annoying.. they distract all my attention..

I'm a high school senior, but I take classes at the local college, and you will not believe how many college students (girls!) talk on their cell phones while in the bathroom stall.

Talking on the phone while in the bathroom (and not just brushing your teeth) is the most disgusting behavior ever. A guy was doing that while I was washing my hands; whoever was on the other end of that phone must have been hearing what I was hearing, and it was vile.

i'm pretty tolerant about cell phone use, but I would never ever use my phone in the bathroom.

another random thing - i HAVE to have a fan on me, every night, all year 'round.

my clothes are color coded! well, and then long sleeve shirts on top and short sleeve below. haha.

I always keep my phone convos in private. I hate it when people are talking on the phones in public..very rude. Also distracting.

But it is fun to pretend to be the person on the other end a have a conversation with the person on the phone. The things that are said can turn out to be really amusing.

Yeah, I've noticed that phones in the bathroom thing too. How can you stand to do that? (And by you I mean in general, not anyone specifically)

I can't stand people who read magazines/newspapers/books in bathrooms...if I happen to find a magazine or something in there, I feel like it's been contaminated with...blech, I don't want to think about it. But what's really weird is that I even convince myself that it looks and feels different...

That's not too bad?
