Quirky or Serious?

So, one of my essay prompts asks me: If you were to write the story of your life until now, what would you title it and why?

I'm not sure if I should take a quirkier/funny approach, or something more sentimental and serious. What do you think?

I got something similar for the Pepperdine supplement. The prompt was if I were to write a book about my life what the title would be (basically the exact same thing as yours). There isn’t really a wrong answer for this, unless you put something like “How Eve848 became a serial killer,” or something ridiculous or offensive like that. They just want a little insight into how you think or your creativity. I personally don’t think very well with abstract questions or prompts like this, so I just titled my book Jack of All Trades (my first name is Jack).

You should take whichever approach allows you to write a more personal, specific, detailed, and revealing essay.

No approach is best for everyone. Whichever approach is best for you, as defined above, is the one to choose.

Thank you!
I went for a more sentimental approach, because my attempts to be funny were not authentic. Thanks for your help.
