Quitting a job

Okay...I have a job that I work about 5 hours a week at. It's a sub shop. I used to work 15 hours a week (fri/sat/sun), up untill the middle of November, but because we hired both new workers and because I started being unable to work alot of saturdays and sundays due to MUN/scholastic bowl competitions, I've been getting alot less hours. Like, maybe two 4-hour shifts a week, and usually I have to cancel the Saturday one anyway. It's not really worth it to make 25$ a week, you know? In the next two months more than half of the Saturdays I can't work because of scholastic bowl meets. I can't work during the week because I have too much homework that'd keep me up untill 12 doing. Plus, my courseload this next semester is going to be much harder (AP physics, pre-calc, APUSH).

My question is--it worth to quit? I should have about 800 dollars in my bank account right now (once my dad reimburses me), and then I'll get alot back with taxes. I never, ever spend anything, except maybe a lunch every week or so, if even. If I can get a guarantee that once May starts I can star the job again, is it worth it to quit? My parents are really worried about spending money in college. =/

Tell your boss why you need to quit and do it.

if it's too much for you, you should give a 2 weeks notice and quit. nobody what, you gotta put school first.
