Quitting a sport

Hey guys,

Last year, I played freshmen baseball. I was planning to also tryout sophomore year, but I ended up having a scheduling conflict. I could not attend any of the Saturday tryouts/practices/games/activities, so the Varsity Head Coach would not let me tryout. Would I be able, on my college resume, to still put in that year of baseball and then write why I could not keep playing? Also, how would colleges, especially the top ones, feel about this?

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Just put in your freshmen year. Might as well get credit for it, I know that I only took Track to get credit for it. And then I heard that you have to take it all 4 years to get recognition or credit or some shi*, and I couldn’t do that. I don’t care, I’d still put that year of sport in your transcript. Yes, I personally think you should put in why you couldn’t continue, but I don’t know what they’d think.
