<p>Ok...I llive near Dallas, TX, and I am in Academic Decathalon....so whats the deal with quiz bowl? Is it random questions like jeopardy so there is nothing to really study or no? If it is based on having a large amount of knowledge over a variety of areas then I am interested. Someone tell me whats up.</p>

<p>It's like Team Jeopardy. You buzz in when you know the answer (questions are from all subjects) and at certain points, you are allowed to converse with team members. It's hard to study for, but people who read a lot tend to do well.</p>
