<p>We don't have something like this at my school. If I were to found a group like this would that look good for colleges (it seems like a group thats looked on favorably)?</p>
<p>if you're interested in it, then you should look into. If you think it's boring, but think colleges would like it, don't do it.</p>

<p>I wouldn't create it if you don't have a genuine interest in academic competitions. </p>
<p>If you want to do it for fun and/or personal interests; go for it.</p>
<p>I don't know about other places, but at my school it's amazingly fun...and hard at the state and national level. Try it.</p>
<p>It's like Jeopardy, only you don't have to answer in question form. The questions are usually at least as hard as on TV, and it's based heavily on literature. At least the one I play is like that.</p>
