R&C second half ("b") before first half ("a")?

<p>is it possible to fulfill the reading and comp second half ("b") before the first half? i took the ap english test and i don't feel very confident about my score; my predictions are thus: 50% chance for a 3 and 50% for a 4. unless i'm mistaken, a four on the AP english test satisfies the first half for engineering students. </p>

<p>so yea i want to sign up for my r&c course during calso (on thursday), but AP scores don't come out until july.</p>

<p>Yes. Unless the second half has a prereq of the first half but prereqs aren't enforced.</p>

<p>one more quick question: does a 4 on the ap english lit exam satisfy a lower division course requirement? how about a 3? </p>

Units : 5.3
Course Satisfaction: Subject A credit only.</p>

<p>Score 4 or 5:
Units: 5.3
Course Satisfaction: English 1A course satisfcation.</p>

<p>This applies for either AP English Language or AP English Literature (only 1 will count and it will probably be whatever you score higher on).</p>
