I was rejected, and I am re-sending the rejection letter to Boston College with a little piece of note saying “I wasn’t gonna go there anyway, bye”.

Wow, bitter much?

haha i love it

Never forget: you could be applying there for grad school someday.
It's probably a bad idea to burn a bridge like that. It accomplishes very little- it doesn't make you come off like the kind of student that a college would want.
Instead of reinforcing their decision, prove them wrong. Be the incredible contribution to a college community that I'm sure you have the potential to be.

I have already sent the honorary rejection letter.

It's gooooooooooooooooooooooooooood

True, but I doubt that they would keep stuff like that on file. I mean, with all the application files they have to deal with every year, what reason would they have to keep some random rejection letter sent to them by some kid?

They won't remember it, trust me.

its still hilarious though... some kid isnt good enough to get in so he responds to their letter like that, haha

wow! that alot of immaturity. I understand the frustration and **** off emotions you feeling, even if BC is not your top choice, doing something like that gather no respect or benefit. I'm going to tell you a story, it is 100% true, it had some relevant (or not) to your situation. A while back, there was a girl who applied to UPenn and was rejected. She decided to do something wise ass to get back at the admission officer. She send a dirty, use, mud ridden shoe to the admission office and attached a note saying something like this: "Well, At least I got half my foot into UPenn." The admission director wasnt exactly cracking with the joke, so she call the other school that the girl applied to. now How would they know what school you applied to? simple, on your SAR, list the schools that you send your FAFSA to, so they def. know what school you applied too. Anyway, the UPenn admission directors learn that all the school that rejected her also received the same "shoe message." At this point the UPenn director had the chance to call up the school that she was admitted to and totally screw her. If her admitted college learn of this, they would no doubt decline her enrollment (this girl only got admitted to one school.) but out of kindness, she decide not to do it. The story can be found in an interview between the UPenn admission director and author Robert H. Miller.
I dont believe BC will do anything like this, but dont **** anyone off please. You might be risking more than it is worth.

balderdash

Hey reddune- what's with your grammar? Are you international? Just wondering...

Oh, and that story is most definitely false. Good try, though.

actually its true... i heard of this in the past. Good try, though.

Haha, touche', douche bag, but do you have any facts to back that up?

haha a little defensive are we? no facts, just the words out of several upenn students mouths when i went there last year, and also at harvard, where i was at a summer program this past summer.

i believe it. best idea is to not take it personally. as much as you wish ur applications to be you, theyre not you.

Nope, I'm not defensive at all. And by the way, word of mouth really means nothing.

And thanks for flaunting your resume of summer schools, I'm sure everyone is impressed.

no one gives a crap about summer schools (besides RSI).

actually i wasnt flaunting anything, i was providing that to show you that i didnt just hear it from anyone on the street, i heard it from students.

Nope, doesn't sound like flaunting at all...

If all you wanted was to say that you heard it from students, then that's all you had to say. Not all this "UPenn" and "Harvard" stuff.

well see the thing is, it was originally something that happened at upenn so i thought maybe it would be good to say that i heard it there. besides, i just visited? anyway, this is ridiculous... haha oh well. are you going to BC calidan?

Yeah, this actually pretty dumb. I'm just in a fightin' mood, lol. :p

Nope, no BC for me (my twin is going). I'm going to Georgetown (another Jesuit school, nonetheless... funny how that happened).
