I passed my GCSES in 2002 and I am currently studying A-Levels in Liverpool. I really want to apply for my degree in the US but I dont know how to go about it as I dont understand how everything works there. In England, you need 5 GCSES Grade A-C and approximately 3-4 A-Levels about grade D to begin a degree, there are other routes but thats the most common. Can someone help? :-(

There some colleges who will give you credit for your A levels.

This will show you which colleges give credit or accept this as entrance exams. Florida schools have the most classes for credit. As an international student, you will have different entrance requirements.

Thankyou!I got myself in a muddle there! Are you an international student yourself?

my son is an american student taking the A levels. There are 6 schools in the US that have this program. He passed his O levels and is taking 5 A level classes this year.

Excellent, do you think they will accept me as I am taking inly 3 A-Levels: Law, Classic Civilisation and Human Biology? I hope so!

I don't know. The best thing to do is to email the school you are interested in and ask that question. U of Florida answer their emails quickly within 24 hours.

Thanks for that afa81!With my luck at the moment I'm lucky if they get to read it :-D
