As a person who got into RHP last year and did not go, I would go. I mean, yeah, you miss out on whatever goes on senior year, but honestly, if you get a nice FA package from USC (which you probably wil), go.

I regret not going and I regret having to deal with the admissions process all over again. So don't be like me. :)

I got accepted last year, but since I only got presidential and got some really cool opportunities lined up for my senior year (this year) in the city I'm currently residing in, I decided to not go and stay senior year. I think it was the right choice for me. Two of my friends went and I think one of them likes it a lot and the other thought about transferring but ended up staying. I would personally say that having more options is nice. And remember if you get into RHP with scholarship, senior year, tons of top schools will be fighting for you because you're obviously a very competitive applicant. But the good thing about RHP would be you would go to college a year early and with enough AP credits you could easily finish your BS or BA in 3 years.

i'm a freshman at 'sc, i applied through rhp.

daisychains, if you got admitted already, its likely that you'll get presidential and if you turn in your financial aid forms early you'll likely get a good package as well
