R.I.P. Amy Winehouse

Not true.

Clay Aiken and Jordan Sparks had a hit after the show, so it was that one or two years. After that, they haven’t had a hit or any major sales to help them. Clay Aiken hasn’t had a hit in six years, Jordan Sparks new song isn’t going anywhere in the sales department. In fact, non of the winners besides Kelly and Carrie has had true success. This proves that the show doesn’t get you places. And to the fact that the record deal your made to sign after winning the show, pretty much signs your soul to American idol. So they control what you do, and what songs you sing.

Now look at artists, that worked their way the traditional way, and they have stronger careers because they built a fan base more intimately, than on a tv show.

Both Amy Winehouse regardless of her personal troubles had a big selling career, she worked her way up. Some people mentioned Lady Gaga, she to, worked her way up, And her career is a phenomenal success. Not many artists can say all their singles went top ten.
