R.I.P. Amy Winehouse

@LaChicaBuena Fantasia has not had any success since she won the show. Everything after her first years was a flop after another flop. She hasn’t had a hit album or single since 2004 (the year she won).

Never liked her music. Nor did I like her habits.

But RIP.

^ It’s R.I.P, you dope

10Char

^ Ironic you used the word “Dope” in relation to this threads topic.

But R.I.P

It’s actually “R.I.P.” with a period after the P as well. It’s so sad that someone so unique and talented died of something that was probably preventable.

I remember back in 2008 hearing about Amy’s infamous vodka shots snorted up the nose incident. I think it spiked a surge in college kids to try it.

I’ve liked Amy’s music for three years now. She had a sultry voice and there was always something deep in her music, like it was an escape of her life. I really hope her death wasn’t caused by drugs, although realistically it probably was.

I do love how all of the sudden she’s loved when last year people in my school had no clue who she was. Sane thing happened with Michael Jackson, all of the bad publicity gets swept under the wrong and all of a sudden the “Thriller” is performed at every assembly. =/

Yea, I really hate that. The media was talking crap about her a fedw days ago, and now that she died they love her. Kinda hypocritical if you ask me.

Clay Aiken didn’t win American Idol…

My god, Ok.

Clay AIKEN DIDN’T WIN

BUT he still got FAMOUS FROM AMERICAn IDOL

You don’t have to win AMERICAN IDOL to become famous! INFACT I BELIEVE CLAYIKEN IS MORE FAMOUS THAN THAT RUDABEGA GUY ANYWAY

AMERICAN idol helps you get a foot stool on your path to success in life. It doesn’t mean you WILL BECOME FAMOUS but it still helps you

American idol is one of the most watched televised shows of all time. The ratings go through the ROOF

I don’t really feel sad that she died, I just feel bad that the illicit drugs lifestyle claimed its latest celebrity victim. She died too young.

^^The ratings for American Idol are on a decline. Now that Simon and Paula are on the show X Factor its most likely going to take many more views from American idol.

American Idol sucks. Clay Aiken sucks. he was never really famous. A couple years ago he was playing at my town’s fourth of July festival. Famous people don’t do that. Anyways if you really need to discus American idol could you make a new thread or something? this thread was supposed to be about remembering a woman who just died not a crappy tv show which has never had any singers with as much natural talent as Amy Winehouse on it.

This is soo sad! She was a great singer and songwriter and she could just pour out her emotions into songs go amazingly  but I am also not suprised. I mean the song “Rehab” is a great song but when you really think about what it means it gets pretty sad and depressing :frowning: all I hope is you R.I.P Amy Winehouse! You be greatly missed! My prayers o out to her friends and family
